Specialized Therapy

The TheraSuit is a soft dynamic orthosis that consists of a cap, vest, shorts, knee pads, and shoe attachments. All of  the parts  are connected to each other through a system of elastic bands and bungees. Using  the TheraSuit during  therapy sessions aims to improve proprioception,  posture,  provides tactile  nd sensory stimulation, reduces pathological reflexes, improves overall alignment and vertical loading through  the hip  joints, facilitates appropriate muscle activation during activity, provides stabilization across joints, and helps to improve the motor patterns and postural activation.

The TherSuit is typically used for children who are two years or older  that have been diagnosed with neurological or neuro-muscular conditions such as Down syndrome,  cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury,  spina bifida, genetic conditions, developmental delay, etc.
